About Wagga and District Adult Riding Club
Wagga and District Adult Riding Club (WADARC) is an adult horse riding club affiliated with the HRCAV operating in Wagga Wagga, NSW.
Our club grounds are located in the suburb of Lake Albert at the Riding for the Disabled grounds and the facilities include an indoor and outdoor arena, rubber-lined sand round yard, undercover yards, day yards, obstacle course, club room with a kitchenette and toilet facilities, and paddock for parking. The grounds are perfect for trail riding with access to a reserve. We also have access to CSU Equine Centre when events/rallies require.
WADARC has recently added a Showjumping training set with woodshield poles, as well as some 3PE obstacles.
Rallies are generally held twice per month on a Sunday (unless otherwise stated). Rallies are organised based on our members interests, provide education to prepare for upcoming HRCAV competitions and some unofficial events to give members a taste of new disciplines without the pressure of an official competition. We are a very social club and we promote a relaxed and supportive atmosphere for our members. Our club is ideal for people with young horses or those just getting back into horse riding. Majority of our members actively in compete at HRCAV competitions in all disciplines. We encourage our members to get out to local events and "have a go".
